Why We Exist

Gorilla Hoops Academy empowers Uganda's youth. Through the transformative power of sport, we instill purpose, build confidence, and strengthen community, creating a catalyst for education, holistic development, and lasting opportunity.


Real Change, Real Kids, Right Now

We currently serve over 90 young athletes across two rural communities in Uganda. Every participant is required to stay in school, train with their team, and engage in leadership mentorship. Through our work, students gain access to education, meals, equipment, and support — on and off the court.

Knock-out style competition invitation for 3 separate championship titles: girls and boys teams as well as youth (12 & under) from many villages will gather for a day of sportsmanship, celebration, and community connection.
